I would like to send out a thanks to my new dirtbiking buddies for supporting me in my quest to take back Granite Mountian. Dirtbikers pay taxes just like the mountain bikers, hikers and horse riders. Making Granite Mtn off limits to motorized vehicles is simply too large of a bite against our freedom. Why not put up more slow signs near the areas of concern where dust is a factor. Then enforce it and charge more for state trust land permits if necessary. Having to drive an extra 20 miles to the national forest dirtbiking area wastes millions of gallons of gas every year, not to mention wear and tear on our vehicles and TIME! We will respect the land, we won't kick up dust near houses, and we will stay in shape and promote local motorcycle dealers and repair facilities.
